today i think my work is managing controlled mistakes:
step1-fill hands with paint
step2-fling hands in air
step3-watch paint (hopefully) land on painting surface
step4-stare at surface for an amount of time
step5-fix everything wrong with surface
step6-repeat steps 1-5 until complete, broken, or completely broken
the only part of this process that allows for my input is the hope of step3
